Half-Yearly Compliance

Half Yearly MSME Return

Your trusted partner for MSME compliance — ensuring timely reporting of outstanding dues to MSME suppliers under MCA regulations.

Overview

The Half-Yearly MSME Return (Form MSME-1) is a mandatory compliance for all companies that have outstanding payments to Micro or Small Enterprises (MSMEs) beyond the prescribed period of 45 days. This requirement was introduced by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) to promote transparency and ensure timely payments to MSMEs, which are vital to the Indian economy.

Every company (excluding LLPs) that deals with MSME suppliers and has delayed payments must report the outstanding amount along with the reasons for delay. The return is filed twice a year — for the periods April to September and October to March. Bizmint provides end-to-end support for vendor classification, payment analysis, and professional filing of Form MSME-1.
